Myoin Society

Welcome to Myoin Society! We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science of idiopathic inflammatory muscle diseases through research and education, and to providing support for those affected. Our mission is to reduce disability, prevent mortality and improve the lives of those affected by these diseases. Myoin Society was established in 2021 to promote collaboration among rheumatologists and clinical immunologists.

The primary focus of the society is to conduct research in the field of idiopathic inflammatory muscle diseases, with the goal of better understanding their causes, clinical behaviour, and developing effective treatment plans. We strive to bring together leading researchers and scientists in this field, and provide a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and exchange of ideas. Our committees and initiatives enable us to create a platform for developing meaningful research and providing educational opportunities to our members.

Our team is comprised of diverse individuals and professionals with a wide range of expertise in the field. We are committed to working together to make a difference in the lives of those affected by these diseases. We invite you to join us in our mission and become a part of the Myoin Society community. Aims

1. Promote collaboration among rheumatologists and clinical immunologists in providing for research in idiopathic inflammatory muscle disease. The research will be directed toward understanding cause, clinical behaviour and designing effective treatment of patients suffering from this rare disease to reduce disability and prevent mortality.

2. Promote collaborations among specialists among diverse discipline such as neurologists, pulmonary physicians, dermatologists, internists, pediatricians, pathologists, radiologists to develop standard and cost effective protocol in diagnosis of early disease, investigations and treatment of patients in the country.

3. To do CME for physicians, pediatricians, undergraduate and post graduate students of medicine and in the super specialty to discuss the latest advances in the field from time to time.

4. Education and support program to patients to promote awareness to harness the advances in the field.
5. To do conference annually to share knowledge among physicians, pediatricians.
