What we have

Myoin Society, established on November 18, 2021 and registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Registration No: Book-403/2021), is a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on advancing myositis research and patient care in India. Based at NIMS, Hyderabad, the society has founder members with expertise in the diagnosis and management of these rare disorder.

These founder members have decades of experience and their deep personal interest in inflammatory muscle disorders has fueled the formation of this society. The clinicians and pathologists in the society also are part of large national associations with many other members who are keen and ready to participate in organised efforts to improve the management and research in this area.

Outcomes of some of the research efforts of the group have been already published and can be accessed at our research page.

What we need

The society is looking for funding to be able to further its objectives. The idea is to create a research infrastructure populated with human and technical resources which is sustainable.
